Refunds & cancellations

Last updated 30 October 2026

Draft for legal review. This page explains how PLUX.deals is intended to work. It has not yet been approved by legal counsel and may change before launch.

The short version

If something goes wrong with an order, you can ask for a refund from your order page. Every request is looked at on its merits. We do not apply blanket “no refunds” rules to deals, vouchers or discounted goods.

When you can ask

  • The item is unavailable, or the merchant cancels or cannot fulfil the order
  • Delivery failed, or the wrong item arrived
  • You were charged twice
  • A promotion was not honoured, or a service was not provided
  • You cancelled before the merchant started on your order

Cancelling

Before you pay, cancel from your order page and nothing is charged. After you pay but before dispatch, ask to cancel — the merchant must agree, and if they do you are refunded in full. If a merchant rejects your order, you are refunded automatically.

How refunds work

We check your request, ask the merchant for their side where relevant, and a member of our team approves it. The refund goes back through the same payment provider to the original payment method. Your bank may take several days to show it. You will get an email at each step.

Vouchers and gift cards

An unused voucher can be refunded. A voucher that has been used (even partly) cannot be refunded for the used part; the unused value is handled case by case. Voucher expiry and treatment of unused value are set per voucher and shown on the voucher itself.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits your rights under Nigerian consumer-protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.
